Ariven was founded in 2025 by Christopher Weiland after over a decade of building and operating high-volume ecommerce brands on Shopify. The core insight came from years of watching brands pour budget into increasingly sophisticated ad targeting and email segmentation — only to funnel all that carefully segmented traffic into the exact same static storefront.
The personalization industry has focused on bolting widgets onto existing pages: recommendation carousels, exit-intent popups, dynamic pricing badges. Ariven takes a fundamentally different approach by personalizing the storefront experience itself — the layout, content hierarchy, messaging, and merchandising — based on who the visitor actually is.
